Free Medical Pregnancy Tests
Rachel House provides medical-quality pregnancy tests. During pregnancy, a woman’s body produces a hormone called hCG, found in urine and blood. Our tests can detect the hCG pregnancy hormone as early as 7 days after conception, or 21 to 24 days after the first day of your last period, and are 99% accurate.

Ultrasounds
Rachel House offers limited first-trimester ultrasounds to qualifying clients. We require an initial pregnancy test to be performed at Rachel House and a visit with a client advocate before an ultrasound is performed. Be sure with an ultrasound before visiting an abortion clinic in Kansas City.

Pregnancy Verification
Rachel House is happy to provide you with a verification of the pregnancy test for free for each individual with a positive test result. This documentation can be used to apply for state health insurance.

Individual Needs & Community Referrals
When you meet with a Rachel House Client Advocate for a free pregnancy test, you will receive community referrals to help you with any of your immediate concerns and needs. We partner with many outside community organizations to provide a wide range of services for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.

Education Opportunities
Rachel House provides educational opportunities addressing various parenting and life-skill topics. Qualified clients may choose between an individual and group learning environment to meet different learning styles and availability.
